Prayer for the MV Princess of the stars fatalities and survivors.


Dear God,

we pray that you comfort each bereaved family everyday as they grieved for their loss, we pray that you will supply all their needs, we pray for the survivors that they may have a good life after the tragedy, that you will bless them and let them know in the deepest part of their heart that in spite of what have happened, you LOVE and CARE for them. This we pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

A young man was getting ready to graduate from college.
For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom
and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.
As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had
purchased the car.

Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study.
His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him.
He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.
Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young man's name embossed in gold.
Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said,
"With all your money you give me a Bible?"
And stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.


Many years passed and the young man was very
successful in business.
He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old and thought perhaps he should go to him.
He had not seen him since that graduation day.
Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son.
He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.
When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart.


He began to search through his father's important papers and saw the still
new Bible, just as he had left it years ago.
With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages.
His father had carefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11,
"And if ye, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly father which is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?"
As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible.
It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired.
On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words...
PAID IN FULL.

My Beauty Secret Tag

I got tagged by my beautiful friend Mylou. Thanks for this tag sis and finding time to include me :-)

God knows I am a beauty junkie but in a nice way :-) I don't apply heavy make up since I am just at home but I always make sure that I do it just like natural look.

So here are some of my favorite make-up lists :-)

My Foundation: I love continuous wear from CoverGirl in Buff Beige. The reason I love it, it's because it really compliments in my skin. I don't spend money in foundations so this is very cheap.

My Mascara: I love all Lancome mascara especially the Hypnose and Definicils. Works best in my lashes.

My Blush: Any. But usually I don't apply one. Natural look is great.

My Day Cream: I love wearing sunscreen and moisturizer. I love Olay Touch of Sun SPF15. Most of my friends would ask me what I regularly apply to my skin and I told them about this moisturizer. I love them coz it gives me that tinted glow and a sun kissed glow without even applying some bronzer or blush on. What I do is that I apply it after I cleanse my face at night and I wake up having that rosy face.

Oh I forgot, I don't just apply this on my face but to my neck as well. Most Asians have dark spots including the neck and if you are one of those make sure that whatever you put into your face, make sure you give some to your neck as well because this is an extension to your face.

Since I always have a sleepless nights, I always make sure that my skin is really hydrated so it looks very healthy even at the end of a tiring day. I love the Neutrogena moisturisers as well but I prefer this one.

My Lipstick: I really don't apply lipstick. My husband kiss me all the time so I avoid putting one as much as possible. Lipgloss in speciall occasions or anything I can think of.

My Essential Beauty Product: I have to tell this that I love lotions so this is my number #1 list. I love Olay Touch of Sun Lotion and you know, it really smells so good. I just don't like applying it when hubby is around because he goes crazy with the smell. He loves it! You should try it. Smells really good. It's like your spraying a cologne but much better than that. Try it and let your hubby smell it. Lols.. Let's see.. Also, it fragrance stays in my skin. If you use this or planning to buy one, please remember me. Lols!

Elizabeth Arden Sheer Tint Lip Balm in Sun Bronze. Gives me a minty or cool feeling in my lips. I am wearing it now.

My favorite Make-up product: MAC, Lancome, Estee Lauder, Clinique, Revlon, Rimmel, Max Factor and Loreal. Second choices are Maybelline, Cover Girl and other cheap products.

My Perfume: Actually I really don't know. Lols. I have to many perfumes.

My Nails: I do it.

My Feet: Since I arrived here in Australia, I don't have a good feet and nails pamper compared when I was in Pinas. Just scrub it with my soap and loofah. Ha! Ha! Ha!

My hands: What's with my hands? Just the Olay Lotion Touch of Sun. I love it really. You should get one and try.

Women I admire for their beauty: My mum. Kc Concepcion, Lucy Torres, Sharon Cuneta. In Hollywood..hmmm.. Jessica Alba, Demi Moore, Oprah

Women with the best Sense of Style: People who can afford. Period.

My ultimate dream: To be a millionare! Promise I won't forget you.

My Top 5 Things To Do Tomorrow

Firstly, I would like to say sorry to those wonderful people in my links who find time to include me on this tag. I know I should have done this ages ago but I am just a bit busy lately so pardon me if I just have to post it now.

Cheers To All Mothers Out There!

My beautiful friend PinaySmile has tagged me. This is my second year in celebrating mothers day and I would say, it is something I am proud of. Being a mother is a heavy-24 hour task but what the heck! I love being a mom and when my daughter smile back at me during a tiring day, it just easily blown me away. I love her so much and so proud of her as well.

This mothers day, I couldn't wish for more. I have everything in my life and can't complain for that. All I was hoping is for my daughter's safety especially to the world we are living today and good health. I always pray that she will be successful when she grows up like most mothers would dream. As long as she is okay, then it is all good for me. She is my life and my everything.

I thank God for this wonderful experience. Rain or shine, I am here to protect her.
